Short answer: Baras is the safer main-DPS test, Garu is the safer sub-DPS or debuff boss-killer test, and older carries still deserve a retest before you replace them.

  • Spend rerolls on Baras first only if your team needs a new main damage slot for bosses or event clears.
  • Test Garu first when your team already has damage but needs debuff, control, or water boss pressure.
  • Do not bench Berserker, Gometa, Puppeteer, Shanron, Shinks, Fastwagon, or Skeleton Knight just because the 0.75 names are new.
